A poem by Samuel’s brother.
What does it take to
make something new?
How long do you spend,
and what should you do?
When creativity seems
to have hit a rock,
and you’ve stumbled upon
a writer’s block.
I see him at work,
throughout the day,
thinking about all the
things he should say.
My brother works on
his computer for fun,
and he doesn’t seem to stop
until the work is all done.
He enjoys to type,
with a clickety clack.
He always is working,
and he never drops the slack.
He enjoys to write,
and the gifts that come with it.
And he loves to try
and make his faith fit in it.
So what does it take to
make something new?
Put in the time, and the rest
will come to you.
